Mark: You seem to be with Adobe--thanks for taking your time to reply. The "Reinstall" button functionality really helped me when I checked for updates or the automatic update checker launched. Now I have to remember if I have installed such things as "additional language support" and so forth. Have you any comment about whether this "reinstall" button is available on the latest version of Acrobat? As a lawyer, I use PDF when filing documents electronically, either with the Colorado state courts or any of the federal courts (District and Court of Appeals, anyway--I've never had a case go "all the way" up to the U.S. Supreme Court, but would not be surprised if it, too, requires electronic pleading submission. Do you have a recommendation of the lowest cost reseller of Acrobat? I have just reopened a solo practice, and the overhead of maintaining full versions of current software is staggering. For example, just check into the monthly cost of either of the two electronic law research services (Westlaw and LexisNexis). Thanks again--have a safe and enjoyable 4th. Jerry Porter
