(recommended) but you can freely download some of the documents.

Certainly not possible with Reader. There is no trial version of
Acrobat Standard, but there is a trial version of Acrobat
Professional.

Note that if your solution used Acrobat JavaScript, you probably would
need Acrobat Professional.
