Reader 9.0.0 on Windows XP Pro SP3 In "Updater Preferences", the box for "Automatically check for Adobe updates" is NOT checked, and neither is the box for "Adobe Reader 9" in the "Choose the applications to update" list, but the updater tries to check for and download updates EVERY TIME is start the reader. This is more than annoying. How do I fix this?
