This will be long so apols straight away.

I had a problem with my computer and on getting it back working found I had lost Reader 8.1.3(?). On trying to reinstall both the previous or Adobe Reader 9 I get the following message.

'The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click OK or try again, or enter alternate path to a folder containing installation package 'AdbeRd812_en_US.msn' in box below'

On following second part of instructions I get an acroread folder, but on clicking it goes off with nothing occurring.

On clicking off the boxes I am left with an Error 1714 box.

Appreciate any help as I'm lost without reader.
