believe I may have a similar if not the same problem. on some documents I can use the find feature fine, I tried this with adobe 7 and adobe 8. once I upgrade to adobe 9 it does not find every instance of a word, for example "of" in a document, and sometimes will falsely highlight incorrect words. in my example of searching for the word "of" adobe 9 found the first 2 words correctly but incorrectly highlighted "Baltimore", "date" a grouping of 5s and a set of 2s. adobe 7 and 8 were able to search the document fine before so i'm wondering why it may have been changed in 9.

p.s. the document is not scanned but sure looks like it, its computer generated. just for comparison I ran the document against foxit and it found the first two instances of "of" correctlly just like adobe 9 but then did not find anything else. so in comparison adobe 7 and 8 seem to handle these documents the best.
