The problem is known to me but apparently not Adobe. They wanted me to pay $39.95 to try to fix it. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and have gotten two different error messages. "Error 1714 the older version of Adobe Reader 9 cannot be removed. Contact your tech support group" and "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." I don't know what the second one means because I'm not on a network.

Does anyone know how to make this stupid program work?
