I did first download Adobe Reader 9 on my new HP-Pavilion with Windows Vista. It did not work so the Adobe helpdesk suggested to deinstall and go to Adobe Reader 8.1.3. I installed that version now but it still does not open automatically. The only thing I can do is open the reader and then open a pdf-file within the Reader program. Has anybody a suggestion how to make the programm start by itself? Thanks a lot Ruth
