Cannot download PDF file to my new computer from web site. I have Vista,IE, Reader 9. I can only save the PDF file on half the sites. I can view all PDF files, but the prompt for save location shows up only on half of the sites regardless of popup blocker and firewall status. Once the popup shows, I can download normally. I have uninstalled Reader 9, downloaded, installed and 'repaired Adobe installation'. IT from bank site verified 'switch is on allowiing downloads'. I now download all files with my other computer with IE and XP and Reader 7. I can also download by turning IE Protection Mode Off: a real pain and not secure. This is not right.
