Adobe Acrobat Reader V 8 I forgot to mention that I tried to reset the permissions for the keys that only gave Everyone Read access (Administrators group does not have access to the key, therefore cannot write to it). I went to the key above it, chose advanced and checked both Inherit from Parent and Replace permission entries on all child objects for the Administrators group. It still fails to add the Administrators group to the child object below and gives an error message letting you know that it failed. Anyone out there? Sandy
