The instructions at this link: <http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?event=view&id=KC.329137&extid=329137&dialogID=2930021&iterationID=1&sessionID=4830d2290e7b6e121403&stateID=0+0+2932034&mode=simple> did not work for me when installing Acrobat Reader V 8. We are attempting to update to 8 from from 7.0.5. This is not happening on all of the workstations, but happened on about 10 of the first 100 machines. Reformatting is not an option for us. If the first install is any indication, we would have to reformat 1,000 machines. It would actually be easier to remote in and manually install it, ignoring the errors - I don't consider this a workable solution either. Anyone from Adobe care to comment or point toward a solution? Sandy
