Adobe Reader reports my installed version of Reader as 7.0.9. Secunia Software Inspector (http://secunia.com/software_inspector/) reports my installed version of Reader as 7.0.8.218, and comments -- "This installation of Adobe Reader 7.x is insecure and potentially exposes your system to security threats!" The Version Properties of "AcroRd32.exe" at "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader" also report "File version 7.0.8.218." I have re-downloaded and re-installed "AdbeRdr_7_0_9_en_US.exe" -- but nothing changes in the reported version of Reader. The "File version" of the executable itself reports as "0.0.0.0." In light of the above information, which version of Reader is actually installed on my computer? And if it in fact is the insecure version 7.0.8.218 -- even after (re)installing version 7.0.9 -- how can I get the upgrade to 7.0.9 to become effective? Thanks.
