Using an OCR and Adobe Reader

A couple of days ago I installed a OCR to work in conjunction with my scanner. Now, every time I save a pdf file, it's saved to (associated with) the OCR rather than Adobe Reader. These files now have the OCR's icon attached to with them rather than the Adobe Reader icon.

Any ideas regarding what I've accidentally done to cause this??

Thanks!!
