Please can someone help me, i have downloaded Adobe Reader 8 onto my daughters laptop as it had version 5 on it (in German) but worked fine!Having downloaded the new version when i load it, or open up a PDF web page it comes up with an error 'Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library' and the program close's when i close the error message. I have tried the Adobe download manager to check for updates, i have also updated my graphic card. I am running Microsoft Windows XP Home edition,and have 256MB of RAM.
