I have downloaded and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0. I have disabled all my pop-up blockers, security system, etc. The program shows up on All Programs o.k., and it is in My Computer. yet when I try to read a file using Adobe Reader 8, I get the message: Adobe Reader 8 has encountered a problem and must close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I am using windows XP and Microsoft Internet Explorer. This error messsage doesn't explain what the error might be, so I have no idea what to try to fix.
