I have created a footer and a header for a Word document. In order to print with a clean, transparent background, I need to remove the background color (Word prints with an off-white background for JPG/TIFF graphics for some reason). So, once the transparency is invoked, it prints wonderfully from Word. The problem starts when I PDF that Word document. Because the transparency is in effect, it pixellates the edges of the graphic to give a frenzied, chiseled feel. In summary, it looks awful and is of terrible quality. What am I doing wrong? What format or process should I be doing to get it to print in both Word and PDF (from Word)? Thank you for any help.
