I have the same problem with Adobe Reader 7.08.
It pops up when I try to get Nero.com Web page and grinds the page to a halt.
It also appears when I try to login on Amazon.co.uk.Again grinds everything to a halt.
Following instructions from Adobe Help !!!!
I downloaded and installed Windows Installer Cleanup Utility,
msicuu2.....
This utility removed Adobe Reader from the list displayed, but did not remove it from my Windows XP system.
It is a damn pest, where is the help from the originators of the program.
All uninstall programs I have tried will not remove Adobe Reader.
Do the Adobe Tech. Boffins read these forums.????
I am not prepared to Format my hard drive and start over again.
So Adobe, come up with some answers please.
