Thanks for pointing to the appropriate tech article. Unfortunately, in my case, it did not work. The '.pdf' and 'PersistentHandler' keys, that are the identified problem in the error, do not let me change their name or permissions and do not let me delete them. We have current anti-virus and anti-spyware protection on all of our systems. This problem has occurred on two machines while trying to install Adobe Reader 8. Are there any other suggestions?
