I have exactly the same problem and the same setup. I've looked for a way to manually remove Adobe Reader from the computer programs, or from the registry. I fear damaging the registry, but it can be done. If it could successfully be removed from the programs, I'm wondering if Microsoft's registry cleaner would remove it from the registry. If I can find out anything, I'll let you know.
