There is a very very strange behaviour when trying to display a pdf using Acrobat Reader 8 (any plateform) in 2-page mode (or facing-page mode or whatever you name it). The first page (odd or recto) goes to the left! The only thing that was useful with this feature was to display a book or booklet and now, this is no more the case. It's depressing to see that Adobe's people (those who created PostScript, many fonts and PDF for typographers) did forget what a 2-page display is.
