Hi all, like all those before me I have the same problem with the download of Adobe Reader, can anyone help me as I am not that great with the technical matters on the computer. I got this message also. I tried uninstalling Adobe Reader, but Windows came back with a message to say "The patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package." Frank McCourt
