Reader 7.0.8 will work just fine with both Firefox 1.5 and 2.0. For that matter, this computer is currently running Reader 8.0 with Firefox 2.0.0.1 and no issues at all. You said that you just downloaded Reader 7. Which version is it and did you install it over an older version? We also assume that you have Windows XP w/SP2. If you did the latter, then you need to completely uninstall Reader so that the Adobe folders are gone. You can use one of the methods several of us have suggested here. Once you have done that, you can safely install Reader 7 or 8.
