You will need to go to My Computer/Program Files/Adobe and remove everything related to Reader. If you have other Adobe programs on your machine-do not delete them. This assumes that Add/Remove has failed. You will also want to look at the Registry since there are references in there that need to be removed as well. WARNING: Editing the Registry is dangerous-Do so at your own risk! Make a backup of the Registry as well as setting a Restore Point BEFORE doing any of the above. If you are on a network or are not the Administrator of the machine, you have some additional work to do. Also, be sure to disable any 'anti-anything' programs as some are known to interfere with both installs and uninstalls. After all of this is done-download the installer or full program files to an empty folder and run from there. Hope this helps
