Reader 8 does not print even simple 1 page PDF files on my Lexmark Optra S1250 with 32 MB memory. The print job goes to the printer and then the printer whirrs away for a minute or so (no error messages) and then stops. No print emerges. The printer is set for PS 2 printing (which Reader recognises) and will default to as the printer switches between PCL and PS automatically. The printer has the latest drivers. The PDF files print normally from Reader 7.08 and from Apple Preview (on my Mac PowerPC running 10.4.8 ). Yes, I can print the PDF files as "Image files" but that takes a long time per page. I will await V8.01 with interest!
