I am experiencing EXACTLY the same problem and error message on Windows Add and Remove. I am not very computer literate and I called Lenova (IBM) on-line help -- it's free--and we went through a couple of things that didn't work and he suggested reinstalling Windows. I haven't contacted Microsoft yet--thought I try to find a simpler solution through Adobe.
Does anyone at Adobe come into the Forum to help us?
