Thank you I will try the download. Here is the problem I am trying to solve. I have the full professional version of acrobat 8.0 ... I do not experience the problem everyone else in my office is ... they are using Standard Acrobat 6, plus free reader 7.09. when the visit our company website and click on links off main page which links to specific pages in a large PDF catalog pdf, the first link they click on is only page that shows up first -- unless they do a restart of the machine (restarting browser does not fix) ex. link one might point them to filename.pdf#78 while link 3 may point them to filename.pdf#23 if they click link one first no matter how many other links that click that is the page they see certainly they can scroll thru but we are trying to get them to the page quickly without hassel. If they click link two ... they are stuck seeing that page ...

have you heard of this before?

I thought maybe pages were being cached so I put a "no cache" statement on the html page with the links... I have tried working with browser settings.

bottomline ... version 8 works for me so I am hoping this will solve problem with the new download.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
