I use a PPC G4 Powerbook on OS10.4.8. My A8 downloaded, installed OK. On launching it begins to load but crashes saying it can't find a component. It does thsi in more than one user. I have updated pre-bindings and repaired permission.
I fancy reverting to version 7. Has anyone an idea for a COMPLETE uninstaller? I did use Finder to remove everything (had several Reader versions) and cleared the Trash. There must be some hidden files because after a new download etc it asks if I want to UPDATE so I suppose it is finding something. I will say I did not delete any receipts so it may be finding them.
