I've uninstalled everything remotely related to Adobe except for some references in my software for a Canon camera. I left it intact since it's not Adobe software. When I run Belarc Advisor to audit my PC it shows no references to Adobe Acrobat. It still won't install. I've also tried to install previous versions of Adobe Reader and I still get the message that the older version of whatever version I'm attempting to install cannot be uninstalled. What gives? I'm not spending $1000 on the full version just to read pdf documents. I'm not sure I care that much. In fact, I'm caring less and less the more frustrated I get.
