Max: You can revert to Reader 7.0.8. However, the effort is not justified. Go ahead and uninstall everything Reader related and then with a fresh base you can run the Reader 8 installer. I am assuming a typical Windows XP SP2 machine. Good luck Thanks for the reply Brenda
