Ben, My problem surfaced in a most unusual way, My Chase Bank login would freeze my computer and the "three finger salute" was required to close IE7. I had recently run a free trial of Max Secure's Registry Cleaner and immediately suspected that it had cobbled something in the registry after I tried to uninstall it without an uninstall routine (deleting files and folders that I hate to do). I was very concerned that my banking site may have been hacked and after several restore point tries and still the same thing, I couldn't get to sleep, got up and tried the Chase Login from an inactive laptop I have and it was fine?? Now at least I could sleep comfortably but why the lock-up? In checking the restore points there were several automatic MS updates and I was blaming MS for awhile, don't we all? Now Adobe is on my watch list, and they have been so benign forever! Do you know of any other forums that might have info on this AR problem? Richard
