Printing Embedded Graphics in pdf Files

When printing pdf files containing graphics, e.g. driving directions with a map or a message with photographs, the text prints but the graphics do not. Headers and other components will print while the picture or drawing will not. This problem occurred suddenly after having had none before. Currently running Adobe Reader 7.0.
