If you have installed using rpm, You can check the version by querying on the rpm ( rpm -qa | grep AdobeReader) as it will display AdobeReader_enu-7.0.9-1 If you have installed using tar.gz, just check the last modified date of any folder inside the installation folder. If it shows Jan 06 you have the latest 709 Reader installed and if it shows any earlier (2006) date, it's an earlier version. Hope this helps and Sorry for any inconvenience !! Regards, Deepti
