Reader 8.0 Download Manager prevents install

I downloaded what I thought was Reader 8.0 but turned out to be the download manager. When I clicked it I got a series of errors which from reading earlier posts seem to have happened in previous versions. The first was "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel." This was followed by Error dialog box containing "Last error: 1155" and then another Error dialog box with "Unable to launch AOM file. CreateProcess return code: 16115264"
I'm running W2K SP4, I have Reader 7.0.9 with auto-update installed and that works fine.
Can anyone give me the url of the full reader please not the download manager or failing that suggest how I might overcome the problem?
