Recently I found that I no longer have a save option in the web-embedded version of Adobe Reader. If I open the "file" toolbar in the non-web based version of Adobe Reader, I can access the save function. However, that toolbar is not present in the web browser and cannot be brought up in the browser. The save option is also not available under the file menu of the browser. I am a graduate student and am accessing the files through legitimate servers with access to the online PDF articles. This problem makes downloading online articles in PDF format impossible. Does anybody have a solution for being able to save articles from online sources using Adobe? Should I simply switch readers or is there another fix?
