IF you get this message via Norton Utilities-it is a known issue that both Symantec and Adobe are aware of. I will suggest that you completely remove ALL versions of Reader and try a "clean" install of Version 8. Personally, I not only did that, but went so far as to uninstall Norton Systemworks entirely. I only got the message via Systemworks. I do use a stand-alone version of Norton Anti-Virus and have had no issues at all with this setup. Hope this helps
