Removing Previous Versions w/ Adobe Customization Wizard

I am using the Adobe Customization Wizard 8 to setup an automated deployment of Adobe Reader 8. When I am editing the package, under Installation Options there is an option to "Remove previous version of Reader," but it is grayed out.

Is there a secret to removing previous versions of Adobe Reader/Acrobat Reader using the Adobe Customization Wizard as it claims to do?
