Hello,

I'm getting an error message saying that: <<<<<<<<<<<<

this.getField is not a function

TypeError: this.getField is not a function
4:XFA:form1[0].sf1[0].CheckBox1[0]:click

I ran this code to try and debug the problem: <<<<<<<<<<<<

console.show();
console.clear();
//console.println("event.target.isBoxChecked(0) = " + event.target.isBoxChecked(0));
console.println("event.target.value = " + this.getField(event.target.name).value);
// end debugging code
// show field Text17 is this check box not checked
this.getField("TextField1").display = event.target.value == "Off"? display.visible: display.hidden;
// or
this.getField("TextField1").display = event.target.isBoxChecked(0) == 1 ? display.visible: display.hidden;

and got: <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< TypeError: this.getField is not a function 4:XFA:form1[0].sf1[0].CheckBox1[0]:click

If found an example on the web and ran it in Adobe professional that used the "getField()" function and it ran on my copy of Adobe, is it possible that the JAVASCRIPT is embeeded in the example Adobe form and not built into my version of Adobe?

Also, when i do a . after the this. i don't see the getField function appear in the popup function list either!
