Hi, I loaded Adobe Reader version 7.08 onto my Windows XP laptop two days ago. Now, I can't remove the program or open it because there is some patch package missing. I can't download Adobe Reader 8.0 because I get Error Message 1714. I can't use any websites or documents that use Adobe Reader. I don;t have an installation disk. I don;t know where to find Windows Install Clean Up. None of the solutions suggested in the support messagebase for Error Message 1714 are working (the ones I can find). I need help, thanks!
