I just posted a message about this as well. I am so glad to this as I thought I was loosing my marbles. I have tried IE 7 and Firefox. Turned off all virus protection and firewalls. Everything you can imagine. ALso installed flash players and stuff I have never heard of. No luck. Tried to reinstall 4 times and all. Tried to reinstall via web to version 7 and was referred to version 8 Subscribed for technical support and it directed me to the forums. That was really encouraging. I would purchase a product that relys on the end user to fix it. I agree with others. Go to CeNet and download Foxit fro free. It reads pdf files and it is onl about 1.5 meg in file size. This is rubbish and ADobe should know better than this. Its a slur on their reputation
