i'll try to explain better. say i have a word document open. hit print icon. dialog box opens up requesting a file location for where to save/print the document. designate the file location. hit save. ----now here's where the difference occurs. my old version of reader would "print" the word document and then automatically open the .pdf file. with my current version of reader (version eight) after i hit "save" i have to browse to the file location and manually open it as opposed to it being automatically opened.

hope that helped. thanks again.
