Barcodes loading time

I am trying to print a pdf document with barcodes.
When doing so, some times the Acrobat Reader takes a couple of seconds while trying to load the barcode fonts.
This is a big problem becouse if I print from another application, the barcodes do not show or that they are shown distorted.

Does anyone have an idea?
