problem installation Reader version 8

Hello,

I installed Acrobat Reader v8 OK using Windows XP Pro - logging on as
admin.

When I logged on as an ordinary user there was no entry for PDF file
type files in the Folder Options/File types and I did not seem to be
able to add one.

Any pdf file was loaded into Internet Explorer.

Any ideas please?
