Hi There - I am having printing problems with Adobe Reader 9. All the pages come out but not with all the information on it and sometimes with jargon on it.

Is there a setting I need to change or download something?

Regards

David

Try selecting "print as image" in the print menu.

We are having a similar issue on Adobe Reader 8. Selecting "print as image" works for us. We did not have this issue in Adobe Reader 7. Thank you for the work around.

Will using this setting affect the speed in which the pdf prints? What about other pdf's?

It could yes.

I would try to print all PDF's the good old fashioned way and only use "print as image" for the ones that have issues.

Most of the time when you get these issues it's due to a problem with the PDF itself rather than your version. And normally it's caused by improper or lack of embedded fonts.

So consider the above a simple workaround for trouble PDF's but not a general use rule.

I down loaded Adobe Reader 9.0 and now I can't print. I can print all other programs but not Adobe Reader. The brings up the print page and when I select print, the print scroll bar appears and then it disappears. I don't get a print error or nothing.
