Cant open pdf in reader 9 but can in 7

I have recently upgraded to adobe reader 9. when I open a pdf I get the first 2 pages and the rest are blank. This file could previously be read using reader version 7 and lower. I have also tried the same document on other machines to find the same result. I obviosly cant downgrade my reader. Does anyone have any sugestions? This occures when using windows vista or xp!

No, you cannot "downgrade" most softwares. Uninstall Reader 9 (from Add/Remove Programs on Windows), then download and install Reader 8.1.3 from <http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/>
