I downloaded/installed the adobe 9.0 but when I click on a pdf file, it seems to do nothing!! Is there supposed to be an icon that tells you how much is downloaded or give some indication of what it's doing? I am running windows xp(home) and have "dial up". the file I am trying to open is approx. 58 pgs.(provided by a link). I am just not sure if it's even trying to upload or what?
thanks for any help...

Technically, Reader isn't downloading anything. Your browser Is downloading so unless it has that feature...

That being said, that could potentially be one large PDF for a dialup connection. Maybe to large.
