I am still running Windows98 (Not 98SE) and tried to download Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0. Download completed so I deleated version 5.0 only to find out that 6.0 does not run on Windows98. I need to get ver 5.0 back on my computer so I can at lease get by until I can get my new computer. Can anyone tell me how to recover or download version 5.0? QDW

Thanks for the suggestion. I went to the url you gave. It allows me to download an update to Acrobat 5.0.5, but not the software itself. After the download completes I get the message: "Install Wizard found not file to update."

Bernd, thanks for the reply. I have been to the site you suggested several times. I find Acrobat 6.0 and 7.0, but I need to find ver 5.0. Any thoughts?

If you go to the www.adobe.com page and click on download Reader, you'll be taken to a dialog where you'll be asked for your OS version. You will then be offered the highest version of Reader compatible with that OS.
