Save as file names default differently after Acrobat 7 upgrade...

I have a user who would save PDF files from a court's website online and the file name would default to the file name on the court's server.

After upgrading the user to Acrobat 7, when the user tries to save the file the file name no longer defaults to the file name on the website's server.

Any ideas? I've looked around through the settings. My guess is the solution lies in the registry.

Thanks!

I just sent an email to the user asking for her login information so that I can give you scree shots from a working PC (one without Acrobat 7), and a non-working PC (one with acrobat 7).

I'll post the screen shots as soon as I hear from her.

Ok!

Here we go. The first two screen shots are from a PC that has Adobe Acrobat 5 and the last one is a PC with Acrobat 7. The first two look the way they are supposed to, and the last cuts off text.

Screen shot 1
(Here you can see the image name in the description)

Screen shot 2
(Here you can see that when I view the file and choose save, the document name includes the document description that was on the previous page)

Screen shot 3
(This is the file name default when you try to save these types of documents from a PC with Acrobat 7)

When you click on the View Document button, does the PDF open in the browser? If yes, what is the url that shows in IE?
Look at Document Properties for the PDF you download and see what it has entered for "Title" under the Description tab.
