When I pull up statements from my investment sites, Acrobat Reader opens but says there are updates. Do I need to uninstall Acrobat Reader if I hve Adobe Reader 7.0?
I have Windows XP.

They're the same product but 5 is way older.

If you're running on Windows, you'll need to uninstall both then reinstall 7.

It's also not recommended to have both on your machine.

Thanks for the response, but why do I have to uninstall 7? I don't have a back up, would have to re-purchase.

Adobe Reader is a free product that may be downloaded as many times as you wish from the Adobe site ... :-)

That sounds like the price for the upgrade to Acrobat.

you must be in the wrong area. Go here: <http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html>
