I have Windows Me with Arc Reader 6.0.5. Each time I go to open up a pdf file, two diff error messages pop-up (1) says 'annots.api' will not initiate, and (2) 'PPKLite.api' failed to initialize. I've used the 'detect & repair' program with no results. I've tried to re-download 6.0.5; but can't get to it before the 7.0 upgrade pops up, which I can't use with Windows Me. Any solutions to how I get rid of error messages?
