I want to uninstall Reader 6, but it won't let me.

The "Detect and Repair" function doesn't work either.

So I suppose the thing to do is reinstall the program first and then 
uninstall it.

But after searching, I cannot find where on the Adobe site I can find 
older versions of Adobe Reader.

So if anyone can direct me to the proper URL, I would appreciate it.

If you want to mock or insult me first, that's OK.  I can take it.

The download page for Reader asks you for your OS and the offers the newest compatible version. Try with something like Win 98.

There is also a ftp address that Grafitti has posted many, many times. I'm sure you'll find it if you perform a suitable search.
