Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to disable the email icon/button within Adobe reader when launching a PDF. I wish to distribute a PDF document to users within a compant but disable the ability to email the document so I would need to disable the email button on the reader. Does anyone know how to do this... Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Stefan

No, it would be as pointless as it would be impossible. (Consider: if
you've emailed a PDF, the user already has a copy of the PDF; they
only have to forward the e-mail).

If you want security of PDFs, you can't base it on stopping users
saving, copying, e-mailing etc. - these are basic file operations that
will always work. Instead, you need to make sure that unauthorized
copies are useless, by tying them to a particular user, computer,
date, etc. One way to do this is Adobe Policy Server - a heavyweight
enterprise solution.
